I'm originally from California, born and raised in San Diego. Then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area for college and stayed there about 15 years. I was hit with mid-life crisis around 2001and wondered if big city life is really what did it for me. I mean, getting hit by cars as a pedestrian in cross walks and having homeless people groping you while grabbing at your skirt is great and all, but it gets old. I wanted a quieter, calmer life and basicly jumped in the car and took a road trip across the southwest. I was driving through Prescott and thought this is a cute town, I'll live here. So I drove back, quit my job, packed the moving truck and never looked back.

Being a Realtor is my day job, or used to be. I have 27 years experience in 2 states, but the recent real estate slump really took the wind out of my sails. It was costing me about as much to ply my trade in expenses, than I was earning. So I rented out my custom home in the Prescott area, in-activated my AZ license and moved with my fiancee' to a modest, working class Arizona mining town where he works in the Engineering Dept. On Friday nights, I can hear the whoops and hollers of the miners at "quitin' time" through my thin, company housing walls and think..."oh my g--, I'm living in Tombstone, circa 1890." I keep waiting for a stray bullet to graze my arm.

I'm a real estate investor/developer by instinct, I have several rentals I own and manage. In the 2004-2005 market boom, I bought and sold specs and flipped houses for profit. My other passion is travel...I'll go anywhere. I've been all through Europe, Mexico, Canada and my last adventure was Morocco. I live for road trips and will jump in the car and drive with my dog 6 hours for fun, stopping at all the tacky "Dinosaur Track" and "Giant Ball of String" attractions along the way.

Oh and I love to write.
